The Plant City Children‘s Theatre is a non-profit enterprise, organized in 1984 to
provide a better knowledge and appreciation of Dance and Theatre through active
participation.  Since the beginning we have performed many wonderful productions,
including, “The Wizard of Oz”, “Cats”, “The Nutcracker”,"Alice in Wonderland",
“Grease”, "The Music Man", as well as, "The Sound of Music." We also participate in
the Christmas Parade, Strawberry Festival Youth and Grand Parades, the Fun
Festival, the Chili Cook Off and Pioneer Day.

  • 1988 - Cincinnati Reds Grand Opening
  • 1990 - Super Bowl XXV & General Schwarzkopf’s Celebration - Tampa Stadium
  • 1990 - James Hall and Stephanie Goff selected by audition as Demonstrators
    for National Dance Caravan.
  • 1996 - Senior student Karen Goff was appointed to the Annapolis Naval
    Academy and graduated in 1999.
  • 1997 - Stephanie Goff attended Oxford University in England, Fall 1999
    started Medical School.
  • 2000 - Carnival Cruise Line Ryan Zoller Benefit featured entertainment
  • 2001 - NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS AWARD WINNER
  • 2002 - Cassie Hile received the Miss America Community Service hours Award.
  • 2003 - received $2000 Harrilquin Floors Performing Arts Scholarship
  • - Stephanie Goff graduated USF Medical School and is now “Dr.
    Stephanie Goff’.
  • - Rally around the Troops
  • 2005 - October 1, Ron & Beverly Bailey honored the youth of the Children’s
    Theatre.
  • 2005 - Emily Cook performed in “Madame Butterfly” Tampa Bay Performing
    Arts Center.
  • - USS YORKTOWN Navy Reunion Entertainment
  • 2006- December 10 Ruth Eckerd Hall Community Service Award at the
    "Nutcracker."
  • 2007- Appeared on Stage with LEE GREENWOOD-Strawberry Festival
  • 2008 - $7000 in College scholarships Kelsey Myers, Kristin Hansen, Heather
    Gentry, Cassandra Lawhon, Kaitlin Barr
